Hey there! Back sooner than expected 🙂 I have just finished looking through the photos from my Italian trip and wanted to share with you my experience in Venice. What an amazing place! Some people say that the canals smell bad, or that the city is super expensive but after having seen it at first hand, I have to say you can find cheap and good places for a lunch and that the spectacular views that this city offers are unique. It seems like if you were in a film or something, there’s nothing quite like it! A floating city is an uncommon experience that I strongly recommend. From the first sunset to the last gelato you will be enchanted by its ancient beauty.
One of the things that made this trip so special was the place I stayed in; the fantastic The Westin Europa&Regina Hotel. This is a Hotel located on the Grand Canal and it has stunning views of the basilica of Santa Maria della Salute on one side and from the other side you can see the whole city from above thanks to the terraces of the rooms located on the top of the hotel.
I enjoyed one of the best healthy and complete breakfasts ever, yummy! You can also go with your personal food shopper to do a tour around Venice and discover the best places to buy the delicatessen that the city can offer.
I’m just thinking about waking up there again… can’t wait to go back to one of the places that is now one of my favorites!
Hope you enjoy it!
Best,
